Mesquite Rodeo
The Mesquite Championship Rodeo ...north Texas’ premier western family attraction. We work hard to provide an exciting place where children and adults can be safe and still get close to the action: crazy clowns, brave cowboys, talented cowgirls, fast horses and big bulls. Many of our guests are coming to see their first professional rodeo so you may see people from many nationalities and countries.

National High School Rodeo Association
The National High School Rodeo Association is one of the fastest growing youth organizations in the nation, with an annual membership of over 10,500 students from 41 states, five Canadian provinces and Australia. The Association sanctions over 1,100 rodeos each year. The NHSRA is governed by a national board of directors, which consists of one member from each state or province. A staff at the national headquarters in Denver, Colorado, handles the day-to-day operations. For more information on the NHSRA, visit the association’s official website located at www.nhsra.org

Texas High School Rodeo Association and Texas Wrangler Junior High Division encourages rural-oriented youth to excel in school, while promoting and preserving our western heritage through the sport of rodeo. The main focus of the organization is to increase the number and size of college scholarship to be awarded to our Seniors. For the past two years, THSRA has given over $100,000 in scholarship money to deserving Seniors. When you get involved with our association you are supporting family values, dedicated young people and scholarships.

USTRC
The United States Team Roping Championships (USTRC) was formed in 1990 to promote team roping as a sport and to develop a national team roping championship. In its first year the USTRC consisted of one state and 1,200 ropers, now USTRC members are found in forty-eight states and are over 36,000 strong. Total winnings in 1990 were $600,000 but by 2007’s end had surpassed $30 million. At this moment, the USTRC has over 130,000 registered ropers ! Events are held Nationwide culminating in the National Finals Held in Oklahoma City.

NRS Events is dedicated to providing an educational environment where people can attain a higher level of horsemanship knowledge in conjunction with improving their skill level in the events they enjoy. The NRS Training Center, located 4 miles south of Decatur, TX on Hwy. 287 has 93,000 square feet to play, practice, compete and win. The arena hosts clinics and events for everyone in the western world. From barrel racing and roping to training and horsemanship, you can fine tune your skills or try something new. With world-class clinicians, a covered 150’ x 300’ arena, 56 stalls, trailer and RV hook-ups, cattle, Pro shop, kitchen, bunkhouses and much more. Come to experience the lifestyle we all love.
